Introducing Chaplaincy in the Bahamas
In November 2021, FCI instructors traveled to Nassau and trained the ministry’s first Chaplain class in the Caribbean. Twenty-eight students learned how to impact their nation through Chaplaincy.
It was an honor to work with experienced ministry leaders and Christians on this trip! A Bahamian Corps of Chaplains was also established with leadership training on the last day. This group of Chaplains will support their first responders and community and will be active in disaster response.
FCI is partnering with the CTC Network in the Caribbean and is scheduling additional training classes in the region to establish a network of Chaplains. These Chaplains will support each other in response to natural and man-made disasters.
